Designing layouts is an interesting thing. It is like playing with blocks of necessary components (visuals and texts), and try to fit them in on a flat surface and arrange them in a way they would relate harmoniously with each other and convey the message to the audience most effectively. The process is a problem-solving one. Despite the common perception that designing needs a lot of artistic sense, I think common sense plays an especially important role in here.
